Oh, and somehow it’s also...ABOUT CHRISTINE!Tony Scarpellini (Brian Townes), a frustrated playwright, kidnaps his favorite Soap actress, Jeanetta Jamison (Wind Klaison) in hopes of finally coaxing her into doing his play, PENNIES FOR CHRISTINE. Tony has alienated his best friend Nando (kody) and his girlfriend Courtni (Kristi Caplinger) who take it upon themselves to visit Jeanetta, but instead encounter her overbearing mother Sylvia (Patricia McCurdy). Cuffed to a coffee table, Jeanetta soon turns the tables on Tony while Sylvia masterminds her own manipulations on Nando.

ABOUT CHRISTINE had a 2-week NYC workshop production at the Ground Floor Theatre in Greenwich Village in December of 2002. Well-received, the word most used to describe the play was "edgy".
